PE Temporary protective films are categorized by thickness, color, adhesive Strength, and applications, allowing users to select the most suitable type for their products. Below is a guide on the adhesion classifications of PE Temporary protective films:

Adhesion Levels of PE Temporary Protective Film

  1. Ultra-Low Adhesion (Static Film)
    • Peel Strength: ≤5g/cm
    • Tensile Strength: >400
    • Features: Easy to apply and remove, leaves no residue.
    • Applications: Suitable for organic panels, instruments, display screens, glass, and plastic lenses. They are commonly referred to as “static film” in the market.
  2. Low Adhesion (Static Film)
    • Peel Strength: 10-20g/cm
    • Tensile Strength: >400
    • Features: Stable adhesion, excellent attachment and peel-off performance, residue-free.
    • Applications: It is ideal for steel mirror plates, titanium, smooth plastic plates, silk printing, and nameplates. It is often known on the market as “static film.”
  3. Medium-Low Adhesion Protective Film
    • Peel Strength: 30-50g/cm
    • Tensile Strength: >400
    • Features: Stable adhesion, strong attachment, excellent removal properties, leaves no residue.
    • Applications: Used for melamine furniture boards, stainless steel plates, tiles, marble, and synthetic stone.
  4. Medium Adhesion Protective Film
    • Peel Strength: 60-80g/cm
    • Tensile Strength: >400
    • Features: Stable adhesion, high attachment strength, excellent peel-off capability, residue-free.
    • Applications: Suitable for fine textured frosted plates and general difficult-to-adhere surfaces.
  5. High Adhesion Protective Film
    • Peel Strength: 80-100g/cm
    • Tensile Strength: >400
    • Features: Stable adhesion, strong attachment, excellent removal properties, no adhesive residue.
    • Applications: Commonly used for fine textured frosted boards, aluminum-plastic panels, and challenging plastic plates.
  6. Ultra-High Adhesion Protective Film
    • Peel Strength: >100g/cm
    • Tensile Strength: >400
    • Features: Extremely high adhesion, uses water-based acrylic as a pressure-sensitive adhesive, easy to apply and remove but may leave some residue.
    • Applications: Suitable for rough-textured aluminum boards and other hard-to-stick materials.
