The purpose of stainless steel protective film is to protect the steel plate from contamination, corrosion, and scratches during production and processing, installation during decoration, and storehouse storage, and to protect the original bright and lustrous surface, thereby improving the product quality and market competitiveness. Stainless steel protective film is made of a special polyethylene plastic film as the base material, a cross-linked acrylic resin as the adhesive, and then processed with several special additives.

The stainless steel protective film is soft, has good adhesive properties, is easy to stick and peel, and leaves no residue when peeled. The application fields of the stainless steel protective film are not only stainless steel sheets but also aluminum sheets, aluminum alloy profiles, plastic steel profiles and doors and windows, aluminum-plastic panels, fluorocarbon panels, mirror panels, sandwich color steel plates, fireproof panels, decorative panels, plexiglass panels, PS, PE, PVC sheets, sun sheets, security doors, signs, coated glass, high-end furniture, high-end handicrafts, electrical cabinets, computer casings, car lights, flooring, household appliance casings, instruments, and various other fields that require the protection of product surfaces.

Stainless steel products are ubiquitous in our daily lives, so there are currently many types of stainless steel protective films for stainless steel products. However, PE protective film is the most widely used and best, significantly influencing the market. There are three adhesive options for stainless steel protective films, and we can choose according to our needs.

The stainless steel protective film has a light transmittance of over 95%, a high surface hardness treatment, good weather resistance and temperature resistance, low-temperature resistance, good adsorption capacity, does not stain the surface, does not leave any glue residue, gives a fresh and comfortable feeling, prevents direct contact with the surface of the object, prevents surface scratches, and does not generate bubbles inside the wrap.

There are many ways to remove the stainless steel protective film. You can use acetone, which is less and more thorough. The best thing is that it can quickly and easily remove these residual glues, which is better than rubbing alcohol. Or use a paper towel to wipe with some alcohol, then rub the stainless steel protective film a few times, and it will be clean.

You can also use nail polish remover to remove the stainless steel protective film. The method is the same as with alcohol and acetone, and the results are also excellent. You don't need to worry about the quality of the nail polish remover, either. Just use a good one or an average one, as long as it can remove nail polish. Use hand cream. First, peel off any printed stickers on the surface, then squeeze some hand cream onto the protective film and slowly rub it in with your thumb. Rub to remove any residual glue stuck to the stainless steel protective film. Just take your time. Hand cream is an oily substance whose nature is incompatible with glue.

You can also use paint thinner, an industrial agent originally used to remove paint, which is also very easy to buy. The method is the same as for alcohol and acetone. You can also use a hot towel, a razor blade, an eraser, etc., to remove the stainless steel protective film.
